What am I assessing in this assignment?

The assignment of making a video game has its purpose to make an argument through a video game and this argument should be made clear with playing the video game. This all should be done with the help of the readings outside class to make your final product stronger.

What am I NOT evaluating in this assignment?

The purpose of the assignment is not making a perfect video game with special features, but it is about the meaning you are trying to make through the game. The grammer, looks and special effects are not important if it doesn't help with making the argument you are trying to make in the video game.

Why am I grading the things that I’m grading?

This way of gradings makes sure that there is put enough effort in the assignment to understand how to express a certain argument through a video game. The procedural rhetoric that we learned in different readings should helped by making this video game and this should be obvious in the final products of this project.

Why do these skills matter in the context of the class and beyond?

I think this video game is an extremely interesting way to get to a specific audience and send your message. Video games are popular, but they are not as much used as a medium to make an argument. I'm personally inspired to use a video game in my marketing for my own business on one day. I think it is thinking outside the boy and an interesting way how to write across media.
