IN-CLASS WRITING: 9/6

The walk today with the class made me realize that walking without technological devices helps me to focus on the sounds around us. I heard way more sounds, voices and noise around me than usual. The walking with the class made me come out of my comfort zone and in the end I was able to really listen to the sounds around me. I found it really interesting how the sounds come together and create their own interesting sound as a whole. Today really helped me to see the greater details of sounds.

I will be more patient with recording and wait until there is an interesting sound. First I wanted to record everything, but the walk with class made me realize that the smaller things (like walking on the gravel) are sometimes more interesting than the cars passing by. It also inspired me to do some abnormal walking. Instead of walking straight to the quad, it can also be interesting to walk over the grass/gravel, through a hall and in small alleys.
