This blogpost is about how minors, certificates or related organizations can impact my education here in UIUC. In class, we covered information about minors and we talked about organizations that can be helpful for a major in media. We also talked about a popular program, namely studying abroad. All those things would positively affect my education here at UIUC and they all will impact it in a different, but good way.

I will start talking about a minor. I think a minor can impact the education here at UIUC in such a good way. I can imagine that in my major, you will find friends where you study with and become friends with. However, a minor can be very interesting to make new friends I would otherwise never meet. They may be in the same major and I just never met them, but they also can be from a different major. I think those diverse friends can impact my education here at UIUC in a way that I can develop seeing certain problems from different perspectives, which can be very useful. Another way how a minor can impact my education here on UIUC is to gain more experience on a different subject. It would help me to develop a more broad thinking about things and I think it also will help in seeing things from different perspectives.

The organizations that we talked about in class can also impact my education here at UIUC. I think that using those organization for projects can be a real value to me. When interacting with unknown organizations, it will develop my professional and independent thinking. I think this will mostly impact my education in a way of studying. I think I will be able to handle my deadlines better and know how to develop a good relationship with my teachers. In this way, I make sure that I can get more out of my courses and understand them in a better way.

At last, I think that the study abroad program will have a huge impact on my education here at UIUC. When I go to a different country with people I don't know I will most likely develop a lot of independence and social skills. I can't ask my parents for help when I need them, so I have to get the responsibility to take care of things myself. The socials skills I will develop at the study abroad experience are extremely relevant for a future network, but also to learn more about different cultures. All these things help to impact my education here at UIUC in a positive way and to make sure I use the information in the courses in its best way to provide the most value for my future.

Being active with minors, organizations and programs like studying abroad are all extremely interesting and relevant for my eduction here at UIUC and I think that a student like me should be smart and use those opportunities as much as possible.
